What type of leak your water heater may be experiencing can predict serious trouble. If your water heater is leaking from a relief valve or a drain valve, then that’s typically an easy fix. However, if your tank is leaking then that’s a problem! Because the tank is lined with glass and if that glass cracks your tank will leak causing the steel to rust eventually causing the tank to rupture. Usually the telltale sign that you have a crack is that you will see rusty puddles on the floor around your water heater. If you don’t replace your water heater the tank will rupture and flood your home. Don’t risk flooding! Replace that water heater now!

Water heater installation is bit complicated and costly. But new tankless water heaters are very easy to install and repair and their cost of maintenance is comparatively less than the older ones. 3/22/2019 08:43:09 pm
I think my water heater has a leak. It would be good to get it fixed. That way it'll be working properly again. 4/23/2019 05:39:44 am
A leaking water heater can indicate any of several problems, ranging from loose valves to a corroded water tank. In fact, water pooling around your heater does not always indicate a leak—it can be the result of condensation. Thank you sharing your point of view and advice. Comments are closed.
